Camping at Floyd Bennett Field

We'll be spending the first night of OutdoorFest under the stars. Head out to camp at Floyd Bennett field with us.

Before sunset we'll be setting up campsites, doing tent set-up demos, and meeting our camping crew for the night.

At 7:00PM, there is an optional sunset yoga class led by outdoor enthusiast and yogi Talia Ram. Bring your yoga mat or use your sleeping pad.

At 8:00PM, we will be joined by local group Amateur Astronomer's Association (and their telescopes) who will lead us in stargazing.

Hosted in partnership with Tent & Trails, camping in Brooklyn is an experience you'll be talking about all summer. 18+ only.

Details:

-Public transit: Q35 bus to Floyd Bennett Visitors Center. Note: it is a one mile walk to the campground from there.

-Food: 

Dinner: You bring your favorite thing to grill and we'll bring the coals. Family style.

S'mores: will be brought to you by Tent & Trails.

Breakfast: We'll have oatmeal & coffee - bring a mug, bowl & spoon! 

-Rules: No alcohol, must leave campground by 9:30AM on May 31st. Failure to abide by these rules means forfeiting your deposit. Read all regulations here.

-Need a tent? Tent & Trails will be offering a special rental rate for OutdoorFest participants. Contact them at info@tenttrails.com to rent.

-Please bring your own camping supplies (and yoga mat).
