Discover urban nature with The Man Who Mapped the Trees, Ken Chaya, on this 2-hour walk in Central Park. We will be observing and identifying birds, wildflowers, trees, insects, and many other flora and fauna that can be found in the woodland area of the Ramble, the Lake and Strawberry Fields.

Meet at the North East corner of West 72nd Street and Central Park West (across from the Dakota) at 6:15pm. The walk begins promptly at 6:30. 72nd Street Subway station for C and B train is right across the street.

Walk is rain or shine (but not if it is a downpour or severe storm). Wear comfortable walking clothes. We will leave the park at 8:30 after sunset.

Bring binoculars if you have them.
