There's a reason Fernie is one of the fastest growing resorts in North America...
One of Canada's acclaimed resorts along the "Powder Highway", Fernie offers legendary snow, 5 alpine bowls, and 2000+ acres of terrain for all levels.
Mappy Hour YYC lead Matt Mosteller adds: "With the addition of the new Polar Peak lift, Fernie, with its five bowls, now has the most ski runs and the biggest vertical in the Canadian Rockies. Add in the most snow in the Canadian Rockies (actually, this year (2016) and last year (2015) most snow in the Rockies – US & Canada)"
We'll be staying at the Fernie Slopeside Lodge. This no frills, ski in / ski out lodge at the base of the resort offers everything from morning coffee to apres hot tubbing.
