BEhind OUTDOORFEST

OutdoorFest Productions began in 2014 with the launch of the 10-day eponymous outdoor festival in New York City when founder Sarah L. Knapp saw an opportunity to connect disparate community groups, government agencies and brands around a central rallying point.

In the past 11 years, OutdoorFest has launched a public facing community called Mappy Hour and been a thought and production partner for a large swath of outdoor industry brands, often as they aim to enter and saturate urban markets. Through all of the evolutions in event design and marketing campaigns in this period, we’ve stayed committed to our core belief that building community and connection is the best long term investment a brand can make.
