April Events You Don't Want to Miss

April Events You Don't Want to Miss

We can't wait until May 29th to start the fun so we've partnered with some awesome local organizations for a variety of events over the next two months. Whether you're a techy or a travel junkie there's something here for you - can't wait to hang out!

APRIL 14th: Mappy Hour with Gear to Go Outfitters

Mappy Hour, Brooklyn-style: we'll be in an outdoor beer garden with compasses in hand  getting ready for our summer's spent outdoors.

APRIL 17th - 18th: Best Places to Adventure in NYC

Join us at the NY Trav Fest! We'll have a table all weekend but our talk on adventure in the five boroughs is on the 18th (details here). Shout outs to community partners Rob of The Nature Conservancy, Jules of Manhattan Kayak, and Tyler of Smash Productions for helping us create this great talk.

APRIL 23rd - Trail Map Reading Class

It's official spring time so brush up (or learn) those map skills so you can be safe out on the trails. Bonus: find out some easily accessible hikes to hit this summer.

APRIL 29th: Outdoor Tech: Innovations for the #Adventure Seeker

So excited for this panel with Startup Rock Climbing at Brooklyn Boulders! We'll be chatting with NYC based:

  • Jonathan Cedar, CEO of BioLite
  • Jeff Crystal, COO of Voltaic Systems
  • Daniela Perdomo, Co-Founder & CEO of goTenna

We'll be doing more community events leading up to OutdoorFest so keep an eye on our Facebook and the blog for updates! The sun's coming out NYC...
