Fly Fishing Weekend Getaway in the Catskills
The culmination of the Filson Fly Fishing Series will bring together everything you’ve learned on a full weekend trip upstate. Guided by Freestone Expeditions get out of the city and enjoy backpacking, camping, and of course fly fishing in the Catskills. Freestone will pick you up in the city, drive you upstate, and hike you into the backcountry where you’ll receive personalized instruction in the traditions of Adirondack woodcraft and Catskill fly fishing. You’ll channel your inner fly fishing Brad Pitt on a pristine Catskill streams and receive tutorials in primitive fire making and bushcraft. Freestone has all the gear covered, all you need is sleeping bag, a backpack, some extra clothes, and some giddy-up. Trip will depart Saturday morning from the Filson flagship store in NoHo and return on Sunday afternoon/evening. A moderate level of fitness is required.
